‘s team xn Québec, the Association of Digital Experience Producers, is looking fora communications and marketing officer to contribute to the influence of the association and all its initiatives. By joining us, you’ll be part of an agile and dynamic team working at the heart of the digital creativity industry. The incumbent employee reports to the General Manager and works closely with all team members as well as with various external collaborators. He/she intervenes transversally by being involved in numerous projects and events, from strategy to operationalization, including the gala des NUMIX PRICEthe NUMIX LAB, the Xn forumthe JAM 360 and theQuebec Effect – Export Expertise Center

Main responsibilities

  • Play an advisory role in the context of priority projects where digital communication and marketing are an essential lever;
  • Prepare and implement communication and marketing plans and evaluate the results of the strategies for the association and for all projects and events;
  • Developing content strategies and publishing schedules for websites, social media and newsletters;
  • Animate social media and act as community manager;
  • Manage, add and update information on the various websites and digital platforms;
  • Prepare textual and visual content and schedule the sending of newsletters, invitations and other electronic communications;
  • Maintaining the various mailing lists and ensuring the implementation of best email marketing practices;
  • Design communication and marketing tools, prepare reports and other documents, including the annual report, activity reports and visibility plans, and coordinate printing as needed;
  • Provide a consistent and unified visual identity for all tools;
  • Ensure adherence to partners’ visibility plans and protocols;
  • Contribute to strategic intelligence by keeping abreast of news, activities and trends in the digital creativity sector;
  • Any other related duties associated with the position.

  • 35 hour/week schedule and flexible hour policy (greater availability is requested during events)

Qualifications and experience

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communication or Arts and Letters (any other combination of education and experience considered equivalent will be considered)
  • Number of years of experience required: 3 to 5 years
  • Excellent command of French, both written and spoken
  • Good command of English, written and spoken
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Interest and curiosity for everything related to entrepreneurship, culture and technology
  • Master the following applications: Google Workspace suite, WordPress, Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Mailchimp
  • Demonstrate organization, autonomy, accuracy and the ability to manage priorities
  • Be respectful, have a good team spirit
  • Skills in photography, video editing and graphic design are an asset.
