Power option, PCs in the cloud for exceptional performance

During his very first “Shadow Spotlight”, cloud computing specialist SHADOW revealed his strategic vision for the coming years and wanted to meet the many expectations of his community.

l’Power option, the best of our cloud computing technology to play, create and work from any connected device is revealed by Shadow, the famous and very powerful PCs in the cloud! Discover all the new things coming this year!

The very first SHADOW offering was released in 2016 with the promise to let all users enjoy the power of a high-end PC from the cloud. The Shadow subscription service now offers an updated subscription: while the starting price remains €29.99 per month, we now offer a brand new Power option:available for an additional €14.99.

This Power Option will contribute to the achievement of SHADOW’s objective: to offer and maintain an increasingly complete offer, adapted to everyone’s needs, offering technology at the best price. SHADOW stays on track by continuing to democratize access to a PC with the latest components, via the cloud, to avoid the need to buy a new device.

What’s in the news Power option:

  • An AMD EPYC™ 7543P CPU with 4 cores and 8 threads
  • The power of a high-end GPU, including:
    • NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 3070-class cards
    • Equivalent NVIDIA graphics cards designed for professionals
    • AMD’s latest GPUs based on the RDNA 2 architecture, including the AMD Radeon™ PRO V620, designed for cloud computing and cloud gaming
  • 16GB RAM


The graphics card model available in the Power Option depends on the user’s data center. Notably, SHADOW will be offering AMD EPYC™ processors and AMD’s latest RDNA 2 GPUs for the first time as part of its lineup. We will detail the distribution of configurations by area in the coming weeks.

The Power Option will be available in pre-order this summerand Available worldwide* this fall† A Early Access, details of which will be shared shortly, will also be available to some of our users ahead of the global launch. In addition to the Power Option, the Shadow offering continues to take advantage of new features that extend or enhance the experience. SHADOW recently released updates for dual and remote screen compatibility, color improvements (4:4:4)** and the early availability of Shadow VR, the first-ever fully cloud-based VR experience. SHADOW also lifted the veil today new design and redesign of the interface of its applicationsfor an even more intuitive and responsive experience.


A cloud-based Shadow PC also benefits from a built-in high-speed connection of 1 Gigabit per second. Finally, users can also add additional storage options, easily expandable up to 2TB.
