This summer it will be “driving, swinging and having fun” at Lioran † On the occasion of the Canta’L Rock festival, the prairie of Sagnes organizes this second edition a ambitious programming : Little Bob, Vanja Sky, Voltage Tribute ACDC and Wild Karma will be supporting local groups such as Looking for Médusa, Boom Boum or Gémeaux… From rockabilly to metal through blues rock, there will of course be something for everyone.
In the field of entertainment, in addition to the presence of numerous trade stands and motorbike initiations for children, a motorcycle exhibition will highlight different types and custom models such as clubstyle, chopper or bobber and will conclude with the, now traditional, awards† The Lotois Julien Perret, vice world champion 2021, also offers a show of . during the two days electric trial freestyle†
More than 1500 people expected
With an organization worthy of last year’s, the Canta’L Rock association expects no less 1500 lovers of rock and motorcycle. “We can even hope to double this figure if the weather is good,” laughs Cyril Lagarde, treasurer of the association. A realistic ambition if we popular success of the first edition. Especially because this year they can count on quality communication offered by the students of the Saint-Géraud Communicatie Communication School in Aurillac.
Four high school classes
From the development of the strategy to the creation of communication media, through prospecting for partners or even press relations, there are no fewer than four classes, ie a sixty students, who have contributed to the establishment of all communication of the festival. As the terminal Bac Pro Arts and Crafts Visual Communication PluriMédia (WADA CVPM) provided the graphic identity, including the creation of a new logo, for the first and second year students of the BTS communication focused on the strategy and implementation of the communication plan, while that of the Diplôme National des Métiers d’Art et du DEdesign (DN MADE) made three video teasers in motion design intended for communication on social networks. “It was very enriching for us”, defends Geoffrey Moreau, first-year student BTS Communication and responsible for the press presentation, on May 13.
a cooperation fertile therefore the members of the association are delighted. “It’s an opportunity to take advantage of the professionality and the youthful appearance of the students”, confides Fabien Dauba, secretary of the association. For their part, the students can congratulate themselves on having succeeded “a concrete project that allows them to automatically validate a large number of skills needed to diplomas respectively,” explains David Giraud, a high school teacher and freelance graphic designer.
Funds outings and projects
But also to be paid for their work. An amount “that goes directly to the student association and with which they can finance various outings and events”, says Magali Laffaires, coordinator and professor of economics and communication who likes to congratulate all students involved and thank you to the association members for their confidence.
With a budget of €50,000, the association wanted to “make the festival more and more professional” and they succeeded. With a varied musical program, quality entertainment and a neat communicationthe festival is well on its way to becoming a staple of the Lioran Resort† All at an affordable price, as it only costs 20 euros for the weekend pass, 15 euros on Saturday and 5 euros on Sunday.
