Design of a robot, theater… ideas to keep children busy from 11 to 15 July in Le Havre

Throughout the summer, the municipality of Le Havre offers many activities for children and young people aged 3 to 15 during the holidays. Every week, Paris-Normandie offers you a selection by age group.

Many activities are offered as part of LH in the summer of 2022 by the municipality. For all ages, discovery courses are open to the public. Here is our selection in the week of 11 to 15 July 2022 at The garden.

For 3-5 year olds:

Dynamic relaxation

On Friday 15 July, IFAC offers dynamic relaxation for toddlers. That is, breathing exercises, imitation and relaxation techniques the children will learn. All this from 2pm to 5pm at the Sainte-Catherine factory.

street art

Also on Monday 11 July a street-art workshop where children will discover the famous street art. The workshop from 15.00 to 17.00 is held at Quartiers sud factory. It is advisable to bring messy clothes.

For 6-11 year olds:

Model workshops

Two modeling workshops, Tuesday, July 12 and Thursday, July 14, are on the program. The first from 2pm to 4pm at the Incarnato Association premises, the second at Fort de Tourneville, at the same times. The Incarnato association offers a clay workshop, while the Papier machine association will introduce you to the various modeling techniques. The kids will aim to make a bowl for the soup with their spoon. Participants will also be able to pick up their pieces two weeks later at the workshop.

Theater

Finally, Lamaisonkifai gets the kids on the boards on Friday, July 15th. In a theater workshop from 2pm to 4pm at the Massillon factory. “We want to work on improvisation and expression while having fun. The goal will be to restrain and play the actor. It’s not always easy to let go in front of an audience.reassures Myriam Donasis, artistic director of Lamaisonkifai.

For 12-15 year olds:

Short film

The Pop-Up Association’s label also offers, for the elderly, to make a short film. As a professional director, she intends to take her audience into her universe. “With his phone, we want to create a one-minute scenario in a sequence image”, says the director. Following the preliminary script, the teens, armed with their smartphones, will record a short film. Some will be behind the camera, others in front. “The goal is also for everyone to play in the other person’s film”, abounds Myriam Donisis. The workshop takes place from kl. 14:00 to 17:00, Wednesday 13 July in the Salle du Polygone.

Design a robot

At the beginning of the week, Monday 11 July, from 14.00 to 17.00, Game of works in the association’s premises will introduce you to the world of robots. “Teenagers want to design and code a robot. Then they can test their code lines on existing robots”details the association.
