The ONE Summit agenda is now online!

This post originally appeared on the LF Networking blog. Author, Heather Kirksey, is Vice President of Community and Ecosystem. ONE Summit is a Linux Foundation Networking event that focuses on the networking and automation ecosystem that is transforming public and private sector innovation across 5G and cloud-native solutions. Our family of open source projects address all layers of infrastructure needs, from user edge to cloud/core. Attend the ONE Summit and get an inside look at the hot topics of 2022!

Today LF Networking has announced our program for ONE Summit, and I have to say I’m extremely excited. I’m excited because it means we’re getting closer to getting back to face-to-face meetings, but more importantly, I was blown away by the quality of our presentations. Before I talk more about the calendar itself, I want to say that this feature belongs to you: you sent us a lot of thoughtful, interesting and innovative ideas; You have done the work for the ideas; You took the trouble to write them and send them. The insight, lived experience, and forward-looking thought processes humbled me in their breadth and depth. You reminded me why I love this ecosystem and the creativity within open source. We’ve all been through some tough years, but we’re still here to innovate, deploy and do work that makes the world a better place. A huge shout out to everyone in every company, community and project who made the final list selection so difficult.

Now to the content itself. As you have probably heard, we have 5 tracks: Industry 4.0, Security and Privacy, New Network Kit, Operational Deployment and Emerging Technologies and Business Models:

“Industry 4.0” explores the coming together of advanced and networked technologies that enable technology to uniquely enhance our interactions with the physical world, whether in agriculture, manufacturing, robotics or in our homes. We have a great portfolio focused on both use cases and the technologies that enable them.
“Security and Privacy” are the most important issues we face as global citizens and as an ecosystem. Security is far from an afterthought, but when we consider zero trust and vulnerability management and what technologies and policies will best serve businesses and consumers, security is at the forefront.
Technology is always at the forefront of open source groups, and our “New Networking Stack” track will take a deep dive into the technologies and components we’ll all be using to build the infrastructure of the future. In this direction, we have a number of experts who share their best practices and ideas for future use.
On our “Operationalizing Deployment” journey, we learn from the lived experience of those who take ideas and turn them into reality. We ask questions like: How do you overcome cultural differences? How to implement and really benefit from DevOps? How do you integrate compliance and reference architectures? How to not only deploy but also integrate operations? How do you automate and use tools to drive digital transformation in our ecosystem(s)?
Not only content focused on today’s challenges and successes, we look to the future with “emerging technologies and business models”. Intent, Metaverse, MASE, Adapting today’s innovations to tomorrow’s operations, new API approaches – these are the concepts that will shape us in the next 5-10 years; are we talking about how we begin to address and understand them?

Every speech that has been part of this program has a unique and valuable insight and I am so proud to be a part of the communities that gave them. I’m also honored to have worked with one of the best open source event programming committees ever. These people put so much time and care into providing the quantitative and qualitative information that helped shape this program. Be sure to thank them for their time as they worked hard to take the heart of this event to the next level. If you want to be in the room and hallway with these great speakers, there’s only one place. Early bird registration closes soon so don’t miss out and Register now!

And don’t forget to sponsor. Creating a space for all this content costs money and we can’t do it without our amazing sponsors. If you are still in doubt, please consider how amazing these sessions are and the retention they will bring. We may not be the biggest conference in the market, but we are most focused on decision makers and end users and the supply chains that enable them. You won’t find a more engaged and thoughtful audience anywhere else.
